Northbound I-25 a parking lot due to multiple accidents

Traffic on northbound I-25 between the North Academy Exit and Baptist Road is at a virtual stand still as of 3:00 pm Saturday due to multiple accidents.
Emergency crews are responding to no less than 3 separate accidents all along I-25 and traffic has backed up just south of the N. Academy exit. None of the accidents are reported to be serious but heavy traffic is slowing the efforts to clear the roadway. Drivers heading north on the interstate are asked to detour around so that a larger back-up is not created.
Traffic cameras are showing traffic at a virtual stand still.
