Utility crews in the Northeast continue to chip away at the leftover power outages from the weekend storm.
A New Jersey utility says the storm caused more outages than any storm in its history -- affecting more than 400,000 homes and businesses.
A low pressure system lingering off the East Coast is expected to continue pushing moisture over New England and the Northeast today in the form of showers. But less than a quarter of an inch of rain is forecast in most places today.
Officials in Massachusetts are keeping their eyes on swollen rivers and stressed out dams.
The rain and accompanying wind have toppled trees, flooded roads and forced hundreds of people to evacuate their homes. At least nine people have died in storm-related accidents.
