DENVER (AP) - Colorado nuns who operate nursing homes for the poor have spelled out their
objections to the national health care law's birth control rules in a 74-page appeal to a federal
court in Denver. The Little Sisters of the Poor object to a requirement that they provide
contraceptive coverage in their employee health plan, saying it's contrary to their religious
beliefs. The Department of Health and Human Services says the rules accommodate the concerns
of religious organizations.
