Officer shot, suspect dead, 3 others under arrest after Denver shootout

DENVER (AP) - Denver police say one suspect is dead, three others in custody are injured, and an officer has a gunshot wound after a chase that included a crash in northwest Denver.
Police were still looking for one more person Wednesday.
Police say an officer was pursuing a pickup truck when one suspect fired at the officer, who was shot in the shoulder and is expected to survive. He says one suspect died at the scene, one was hospitalized in critical condition, one was bitten by a police dog, and a female sustained injuries believed to be from the crash.
Police Chief Robert White says the chase began after Adams County authorities alerted Denver police to a pickup truck involved in a mini-spree of crimes including domestic violence and shooting.
