Ohio sheriff: 48 exotic animals killed in all

ZANESVILLE, Ohio (AP) - Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says deputies killed 48 exotic animals in all after their owner freed them from his private Ohio park and then killed himself.

He says 18 tigers and 17 lions were among them. Six animals were taken to the Columbus Zoo.

A wolf and a monkey remain on the loose.
