Fire crews are working to find out what started a house fire south Colorado Springs overnight.

The fire started around 3:30 this morning at 3995 Morley.

Officials say there were three people in the home. One person was injured, but they are not thought to be severe.

Crews say the fire started in the basement of the home, which makes it difficult to fight. Officials say the home is severely damaged, but no word on if it's a total loss.

We were told the home had recently been sold so utilities had been turned off. Other forms of lighting could have caused the fire.

Crews are cleaning up the area.
