An soggy storm system dumped heavy rain across some parts of southern Colorado during the past 24 hours. Black Forest got 1.55" and that created flash flooding. 5 miles west of San Isabel got 4.8" of rain, 9 miles south of Walsenburg 5.1". The highest total was 2 miles west of Rye where 6.01" of rain fell in the past 24 hours. That created serious flooding along creeks and streams in the area.
