Pairs Skaters Denny and Coughlin team up

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - Caydee Denney and John Coughlin are teaming up.

Denney, who won the 2010 U.S. pairs title with Jeremy Barrett, and Coughlin, this year's winner with Caitlin Yankowskas, announced Tuesday they will skate together beginning this season. Denney has moved from Florida to Colorado Springs, Colo., where they'll train with Dalilah Sappenfield, who coached Coughlin and Yankowskas.

Denney and Barrett split in February after finishing a disappointing third at the U.S. championships. Coughlin and Yankowskas ended their partnership this month, a week after finishing sixth at the world championships, the best showing by a U.S. pair in a non-Olympic year since 1997.
