Palmer High School went on a precautionary lock down Wednesday afternoon as police were conducting a search in the area near the school. According to a District 11 spokesperson, Colorado Springs Police notified the district that they were conducting a search for a suspect wanted on warrants who had been seen in the area of the school. The school went on a lock down at approximately 2:15pm and the lock down was lifted again at 2:20pm.
Police were reported to have made an arrest of the suspect they were looking for. Students at the school were never deemed to be in danger at the time.
