Calling all hunters and anglers: the Department of Parks and Wildlife wants your input and some volunteers.
They're hosting a meeting this Thursday where sportsmen can tell the Department what their concerns are; it's an open discussion so any topic is welcome, including wildlife management issues and access opportunities.
They're also selecting two volunteers from our region to serve on a state-wide panel which will gather input from hunters and anglers and provide feedback to the Department at a round-table meeting twice a year. "We'd like to hear from hunters and anglers about the issues that are important to them so we can put that on our radar and make sure were not missing any topics that are important to them," Michael Seraphin of the Department of Parks and Wildlife told News 5.
The meeting isscheduled for 6:00 PM this Thursday, February 28th, at the Colorado Parks and Wildlife Department office located at 4255 Sinton Road in Colorado Springs.
