Party in Colorado Springs ends with an arrest

A party ends in an alleged assault arrest in Colorado Springs.

Last night after midnight, Stetson Hills officers went to a home on Potter Drive where there was a disturbance involving a knife.

They found several people fighting on the floor of the home, and one of them, a 24-year-old, had several stab wounds.

He was taken to Memorial hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

One of the party goers, Ian Strickland, 20, was arrested for second degree assault.

The investigation into the cause of the fight is still ongoing.
