DENVER (AP) - A document detailing allegations of sexual assault against Denver Broncos cornerback Perrish Cox is being released.
The Colorado Supreme Court on Friday denied a request from Cox to block the document from being made public.
At issue is an arrest warrant affidavit, which explains why authorities want a judge to issue a warrant for a suspect's arrest.
Such affidavits are usually available to the public, but in January a judge ordered that Cox's affidavit be kept secret, saying it could expose Cox and the alleged victim to abuse.
A judge later granted a request from The Associated Press and The Denver Post to release it but Cox's lawyers asked the Supreme Court to stop their release.
The judge in the case said the document will be released Friday afternoon.
