Pine Creek football team wins playoff opener

Tailback Josh Chance scored three touchdowns Friday night to lead unbeaten and third seeded Pine Creek to a 33-7 win over Durango in the opening round of the 4A state football playoffs at District 20 Stadium.
Pine Creek advances to the second round to play the winner of Saturday's Longmont at Liberty game.
Ninth seeded Fountain-Fort Carson lost 28-21 at Loveland on Friday in another 4A opening round game while Valor Christian beat Canon City 45-13 in a 3A opening round game.
