A pizza delivery man was attacked in Colorado Springs, after making a drop-off.

Colorado Springs Police say just before 9 p.m. Friday the delivery driver was walking back to his car, from a house on the 2900 block of Fountain Blvd, when he was knocked to the ground and had his money knocked out of his hands. The suspect grabbed the money and got into a waiting car; it went south on Shasta Drive and got away.

The victim was not injured. No weapons were seen or mentioned during the investigation.

Police say the suspect is a black man in his mid-twenties, six-feet tall, about 225 pound, and has a stocky build. They say he was wearing baggy jeans, a black hooded-sweatshirt, and an "NY" hat at the time of the robbery.

If you have any information on this investigation, call Colorado Springs Police (444-7000), or Crimestoppers at 634-STOP (7867).
