Police arrest man for threatening another at R&R Grill

Colorado Springs Police have made an arrest after responding to a call of a person threatening another with a shotgun at the R&R Grill on the 400 block of N. Murray Blvd. When officers originally arrived at around 2:30 am to the scene they came in contact with the victim who reported that they were threatened by a male suspect who was wielding a shotgun in the parking lot.

During their investigation it was learned that the alleged suspect's friend was asked to leave the bar earlier in the evening. It was also discovered that the suspect was with the man that was asked to leave the bar.

Officers combing the area spotted the suspect as he was driving away from the scene and promptly detained him and took him into custody. The suspect was later identified by police as 32 year old Travis Sutherland. The reason the suspect's friend was asked to leave the bar was never released.
