Car stolen from security guard

A guard working at the Harrison School District 2 Administration building Friday night had his vehicle stolen as he was locking up buildings for the night. According the Colorado Springs Police Department, the guard left the car running and police say the suspect got in and drove off.
Officers followed the car to Montrose Avenue near the intersection with El Paso Street. The suspect left the car and ran away on foot. K-9 units were called in to search the area but did not find the suspect.
