Police have ruled a UCCS student death as a homicide

Colorado Springs Police are asking for the public's help in tracking down a homicide suspect.
Police say Angelina Sicola, 20, was strangled to death. Sicola's body was found Thursday around 12:01 p.m. inside of an apartment at 3801 Half Turn Road.

Sicola was a sophomore communications major at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.

The University just released this statement:

"I am saddened to share news of the loss of a member of our community. I offer my condolences, on behalf of the university, to Angelina's friends, family, and classmates.University officials are in contact with Angelina's family and the Colorado Springs Police Department. We will assist the family and, if requested, the police department in its investigation. Angelina graduated from Palmer Ridge High School and enrolled at UCCS for the fall 2011 semester. We will share memorial service plans when they become available."

Sicola worked at the U.S. Taekwando Center in Monument.
