Woodland Park Police have recovered two pieces of a missing 200 pound bronze statue.

It was stolen from in front of the Coldwell Banker building on Highway 24 last week. It's a statue of a girl pulling a wagon with a dog sitting in the wagon, police say it's worth $24,000.

Sargent Tom Kinney says a viewer called the police station with a tip that she had seen the little girl and dog at a scrap metal recycling plant in Colorado Springs. Police apprehended the two pieces this morning.

Police have no suspects and are still looking for the wagon. If you have any information that may help their investigation you are asked to call Woodland Park Police at (719) 687-9262.
