Pueblo Police are looking for a multi-taking man who broke into a store while apparently sending text messages on his cell phone. It happened on February 16 at around 1:15 a.m. at the Family Dollar at N. Elizabeth.

When Officers arrived they observed the glass on the front door was broken out, though they found no one inside.

The store security video showed a young white man attempting to kick in the front door, while giving a great amount of attention to his cell phone. The suspect appears to be in his early twenties, approximately 5`8, thin build with a shaved head wearing a black t-shirt, black basketball type shorts with a white stripe down the sides, white ankle socks and black tennis shoes.

When he got into the store he continued to text, according to Pueblo Police. It is unknown what if anything the suspect removed from the store.

If you have any information on the identity of the texting burglar you are urged to call Pueblo Crime Stoppers 542-STOP (542-7867) or visit the web site.
