Two men are facing charges for allegedly kidnapping one of the men's estranged 16-year-old girlfriend.

Colorado Springs police say they were first alerted after calls on a disturbance, near Early Sun Drive and Chelton Road. After investigating, police say they found out that the 16-year-old girl had been kidnapped around 3:00 a.m.

The boyfriend's car was found off of Chapman Drive; unattended in a parking lot. Police say a firearm may have been used in the crime.

25-year-old Miguel Jiminez - the girl's estranged boyfriend according to police - and 19-year-old Alan Medoza-Para are facing charges after being arrested around seven Sunday morning, at 4825 Astrozon Blvd. The girl's whereabouts were still unknown at that time.

The 16-year-old called her mother around 10:30 a.m., Sunday, from a 7-11 store at Astrozon and Academy. CSPD is still investigating what happened; but they say all suspects and involved vehicles have been located.

Jiminez is being charged with kidnapping and felony menacing, and Medoza-Para is being charged as an accessory to the crime.
