Poll finds strong anti-Washington feeling

It looks like Congress could be in for quite a shake-up this year.
The party in power normally loses seats in a midterm election. But a new poll finds anti-incumbent feelings particularly high -- just like they were in 2006 and 1994. In those years, control of Congress changed hands.
The Pew Research Center poll of registered voters found that fewer than half of the people who were surveyed would like to see their current member of Congress win another term.
And a fifth said they would see their vote as a vote against President Barack Obama. Four years ago, when George W. Bush's Republicans lost control of Congress, more than a third of voters who were surveyed said their vote was a vote against Bush.
The poll does include a few bright spots for Obama and for Democrats. When asked who can do a better job on issues like education, health care and energy, Democrats have the edge. But the parties are ranked about even on the economy.
