A reported kidnapping last week in Pueblo has police asking for your help.

Just before 9:00 PM last Wednesday, June 6th, witnesses saw a man in a dark SUV pull over and reportedly assault a woman walking down the 2200 block of Lake Ave then force her into the car.

The suspect is described as a white or hispanic male driving a late-model maroon Toyota SUV. The night of the incident the suspect was wearing a green shirt, blue jeans, and gloves. The victim is described as a young black female, age 18-20, weearing jeans and a dark shirt.

Right now police have no leads, no suspect, and no victim. No missing persons reports have been filed, and nobody matching the woman's description has been admitted to nearby hospitals. With only witness accounts to work from, police are asking the public for more information to solve this case. "At this point we don't know what we have. We dont know if it's drug related, gang related, we don't know if it's domestic violence, we don't know if people were role playing. We don't know, that's why we need the public's help," Detective Jeff Shay of the Pueblo Police Department told News 5.

Police are calling the incident suspicious. If you have any information related to this crime, you're asked to call police at 719-542-STOP.
