The postal service in Colorado Springs is making it easier for some seniors in our community to get their holiday packages sent.
Rather than having to wait in line at the post office, the residents of the Belcaro Senior Apartments had the post office come to them this morning.
The post office says they wanted to extend the service as a courtesy to customers who might have a hard time arranging for transportation or waiting in line.
"Its so much nicer for a complex like this because many of these can't stand in line for two hours," said Marie, a resident.
The Belcaro is one of several senior living centers in the Colorado Springs that the post office is visiting this holiday season.
