Power outages for 2,200+ in Colorado Springs

Colorado Springs Utilities are working on a couple of outages in the city. More than 2,200 customers are without power.
One of the outages is in the area of Nevada Ave. and Washington St.; that one affects more than 1,800 customers. Another outage, affecting nearly 400 more customers, is near Fillmore St. and Beacon St.
No word yet on what's causing these outages. CSU officials say crews are working on it and hope to have all power back on by noon.
