President Barack Obama says, "we cannot stand idly by"

BRASILIA, Brazil (AP) - President Barack Obama says the United States has launched a limited military action against Libya because the U.S. and its allies, as he puts it, "cannot stand idly by when a tyrant tells his people there will be no mercy." From Brazil, Obama reiterated the U.S. will not send ground forces into Libya.
