President Obama pushes mortgage relief

LAS VEGAS (AP) - President Barack Obama says the government will offer mortgage relief to hundreds of thousands of Americans who owe more on their homes than they are worth. Eligibility requires that mortgages be current. Obama says the policy is necessary because Congress is being "increasingly dysfunctional" and not doing its job.
