DENVER (AP) - Private laboratories that are handling hundreds of evidence samples from a suspended state lab have started hiring additional staff to help with increasing workloads.
The Denver Post reports criminal cases have not been compromised or delayed.
The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment suspended state tests on June 28 after defense attorneys exposed an internal report by the department that revealed potentially tainted lab results.
