PUEBLO- A public hearing will be held on March18 to assess the severity of tumbleweeds in Pueblo
County. The event is being organized by Action 22, an advocacy group for the 22 county area of
Southern Colorado. Organizers hope the meeting will help to determine the scope of the problem
and generate practical solutions. The group says tumbleweeds are a fire hazard as well as an
overall public nuisance. The hearing will be held from 10:00am to noon at the Steelworks Museum
on Canal Street in Pueblo.
