A local horror buff, turned author, has published his first book and it's based in Pueblo!

His pen name is Junior Sajbel, and he and his wife, Cupcake, wrote The Keeper.

Today, they held a book signing to celebrate at Pueblo Records and Tapes.

It's the first in a series about vampires, but they're not your typical vampires.

"They eat, sleep," said Jim "Junior" Sajbel, the author. "This vampire loves Snickers. He loves to drink alcohol. He loves all the vices that humans like, but he's also a vampire. He's not a dude you want to meet."

Their website will be up and running soon at thekeeperstories.com, and they also tell us this is a book series for adults.
