Pueblo Central loses in 3A State Semifinals

Pueblo Central's dream at a state championship has come to an end. Central lost to Steamboat Springs 35-7 Saturday in the 3A Semifinals at Pueblo's Dutch Clark Stadium.
Central Wildcats quarterback Max Lerille scored a first quarter touchdown to give Central its first and only lead of the game at 7-6, but Steamboat scored 29 unanswered points to cruise to victory and earn a bid to the 3A state championship game.
Central finishes the season with a 12-1 record.
