Pueblo Chile & Frijoles Festival all weekend

The aroma of roasting chiles is wafting over Pueblo's Union Ave. Historic District--as the city celebrates its annual Chile & Frijoles Festival. From mild anaheim peppers to blistering habaneros--and don't forget Pueblo chiles--you'll be able to get them raw, roasted, cooked into green chile or dried.
The festival also includes cooking contests, a jalapeno eating contest and pinto bean spitting contest. Entertainment runs from Great White to tejano music. And artisans and craftsmen will be selling their creations.
Don't bring your pets or weapons, but do bring a huge appetite.
