Pueblo juvenile charged with attempted murder

An argument on Pueblo's southside escalates into an arrest on attempted murder charges.

Pueblo police say a teenager on a bike got into a confrontation with three males and a woman near the corner of Berkley and Mesa. Before taking off-, he allegedly pulled out a gun and shot it at them.

No one was hit.

The men then apparently jumped into a jeep and tried to chase him down before crashing into this home. The teen on the bike ran into a nearby house to hide. He's now in custody.

The owner of the damaged house says she's just glad no one was there as it happened.

Columbian elementary was on "secure perimeter status" as police investigated.

The teenager on the bike had four warrants prior to this arrest. He faces four counts of attempted first degree murder and charge of a juvenile in possession of a handgun.
