Pueblo PD seeks suspect that threatened family at Kmart

PUEBLO, CO -  The Pueblo Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in identifying a suspect who menaced a family with a handgun at the Kmart's parking lot at the 3400 block of N. Elizabeth Street on Saturday shortly before 10pm. The victims reported that they witnessed a male shopper acting very suspiciously and possibly shoplifting items. When the victims were in line paying for their items, the suspect ran out of the back of the store which alerted Kmart staff. As the victims walked to their vehicle in the front of the store, they observed the suspect approaching a gray, four door vehicle with tinted windows. When the suspect saw the victims watching him, he reached into the driver's side of the vehicle, pulled out a black handgun and pointed it at them. The victims then drove away and the suspect followed them to the area of 29th Street and Elizabeth Street before driving away.
The suspect was described as an Hispanic male, approximately 6'1" tall and 180-190 lbs. The suspect had a shaved head with a checker board design on top and four braids on the back of his head. He was wearing dark pants, white tennis shoes, and a black long sleeve shirt with a white t-shirt over it. He also had eyeglasses and a goatee.
