Pueblo Police look for identity theft suspect

Pueblo Police are looking for a woman who was caught on tape, apparently cashing forged checks.

Julia Zaya reported on April 28, that someone had taken her purse when she accidently left it on a bench at the Riverwalk in Pueblo.

A week later it became apparent someone had been cashing checks from her account at local Loaf and Jug stores on April 29.

The female suspect appears to be in her twenties or thirties with long black hair wearing a red sweatshirt with a large white logo on the back, possibly the lady of Guadalupe.

If you have any information on the identity of this female you are urged to call Pueblo Crime Stoppers at 542-STOP (542-7867) or visit the Crime Stoppers website.
