Pueblo Police: Man says he was shot in an attempted carjacking

PUEBLO - Pueblo Police say a man pulled over to call for help after he says he was shot in an attempted carjacking around noon on Tuesday.

Thirty-eight year-old, Brian Comstock, says that the shooting took place in the area of 7th Street and Troy Avenue. He drove to Constitution Road and McNeil Road before he called for help and stopped.

Comstock was shot in the leg and transported to a local hospital. Later, he was flown to Denver for those injuries.

When officers spoke with residents in the area, no one said they heard anything. The investigation is on-going.
