Pueblo's Centennial students use spirit week to honor heroes, victims

Centennial High School students use their spirit week to honor heroes and victims. They ended the week with a 9/11 ceremony and rally in the school gym.

Several members of the military, local law enforcement and emergency services came to the ceremony and the students gave them a standing ovation.

"This was our spirit week and we decided to honor the local heros from our community," said Gianna Langoni, student body president, "and we are also going to honor our teachers because they are our school heros."

All the high schoolers were in elementary school when 9-11 happened.
