It's going to be a cold day here in Southern Colorado. After starting off this morning with temperatures between 10 below and 10 above zero, highs today will stay chilly in the teens/20s which is well below average for this time of year. Expect a mix of clouds and sun throughout the afternoon with isolated snow showers possible over the region during the afternoon and evening hours. New snow accumulations should stay under an inch.
It'll be another very cold morning Monday with lows below zero in most spots. Monday afternoon will be filled with lots of sunshine as temperatures warm to above freezing readings in the 30s. The warmest day of the week will be Tuesday with highs in the 50s over the lower elevations. No big temperature swings are expected through the remainder of the week as the region looks to stay dry throughout the workweek.
