A wild bat has tested positive for rabies. It was found at the Pueblo Zoo.
It was discovered in front of the vulture stork pen. The Health Department is concerned people may have come in contact with it.
If you or your child possibly came into contact with the bat, call the Health Department right away, so you can get treatment if necessary.
Also, make sure your pets are up-to-date on vaccinations.
