Rare Natural Identical Triplets Are Now Home & Healthy

An extremely rare set of natural identical triplets are now healthy and residing with their parents.  The triplets were born July 27 at Memorial Hospital.  Odds of naturally-occuring identical triplets without the aid of fertility treatments are estimated at around 1 in 200 million.

Quinn, Liam, and Hunter Bartz were not supposed to go home until around their due date of September 6, but all three were healthy and strong enough to go home with parents Jami and Patrick several weeks early.  They're joined in the crowded home by their 3-year-old brother Michael.  Jami says that, so far, raising the triplets has been easy.  She says they're generally quiet and even allow for up to 6 hours of consecutive sleep per night.  She knows, though, that the peace and quiet won't last forever.  "I'm pretty sure our house will be destroyed. We figured we'd wait until they're 5 and then move," she says sarcastically.  "Or get new carpet."
