Record highs are likely on Tuesday

Chinook winds are blowing, and they'll be stronger on Tuesday, so highs will climb into record range, with highs of near 90 in Colorado Springs and 97 in Pueblo. (The records for the date are 87 for Colorado Springs and 94 for Pueblo). Other cities may set records as well.

Winds will be gusty, as a cold front approaches, then moves in on Wednesday (which will still be warm, but 5-10 degrees cooler than Tuesday)

Thursday: Windy at times, and at least 20 degrees cooler, with a 20% chance for storms. Highs 60s/70s.

Friday: Still cool, with isolated pm storms. Highs 60s/70s.

Saturday through Monday: Breezy, with isolated PM storms and warmer-than-average highs in the 70s/80s.
