Record highs possible to start November

TODAY: The new month of November begins on a VERY warm note! There is a good chance that we'll tie the all-time record high today in Colorado Springs at 72 degrees. Highs in Pueblo will top-out at 76...the record today is 80. Sunny skies to start the day, but you might notice some high clouds starting to stream across the state ahead of a cool front that will arrive early Friday.

FRIDAY: That cool front arrives in the morning bringing us some breezy conditions. At times we'll have winds gusting in excess of 25 mph. Behind that front we'll have temps tomorrow afternoon about 8-10 degrees cooler than today's very warm readings. Our afternoon temps should be about 62 in the Springs and 68 in Pueblo. Expect mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies during the day.

SATURDAY: Very likely that most of you will start the day with temps at or below freezing. Later in the day we'll have high temps a bit cooler than Friday. Highs will be 58 in Colorado Springs and only 62 in Pueblo with abundant sunshine expected for all of us.

SUNDAY: Another cold start to the day with temps at or below freezing, but we will see plenty of sunshine. By the afternoon we expect temps to be just a touch warmer compared to Saturday. Highs reach 60 and 65 in Pueblo. Temps in Briargate at 57, 62 at Ft, Carson, 63 in Canon City, 62 for Trinidad and 66 in La Junta.

MONDAY-WEDNESDAY: The first week of November starts with really pleasant weather. Abundant sun all three days with temps in the lower to middle 60's in Colorado Springs and upper 60's to near 70 in Pueblo.
