A former recruiter for the Wyoming National Guard has pleaded not guilty to taking sexually explicit photos of a girl who wanted to join the military.

Thirty-nine-year-old Martin Craig Frank entered his plea Tuesday in Casper. He's charged with two counts of sexual exploitation of a child. Investigators allege that Frank took pictures of the girl performing a sex act on him. They say Frank told them he realized the relationship was inappropriate and that he needed to "keep it
professional."

Frank was arrested in late March and is in jail on $75,000 bail. Judge Thomas Sullins denied a request to allow him to post bond. He faces up to 24 years in prison if convicted of the charges.
