The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for Tuesday for most of Southern Colorado.
A Red Flag Warning means that the fire danger is high due to a combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures.
To add to the danger we also have a lot of dry brush and grasses that can fuel fires. With winds gusting up to 40-miles an hour it is a very good idea to be very careful with fire.
Refraining from any outdoor burning is highly recommended and it is a good idea to properly extinguish any cigarettes.
