Gusty winds combine again today with low humidity and warm weather to rocket the fire danger into the sky high category. A Red Flag Warning is in effect until 8 p.m. for the Front Range from New Mexico to Wyoming.

Wind gusts of 40 to 55 miles an hour are expected this afternoon with humidity levels of less than 15 percent. The fire danger will be extreme Monday afternoon along the I-25 corridor. And the Red Flag Warning may be expanded east if the conditions warrant.
