Repair work to start on I-270 ramp over I-70

DENVER (AP) - Colorado transportation officials say that weather permitting, repairs on the Interstate 270 ramp over eastbound I-70 should be complete by Sunday.
The bridge was damaged when a truck carrying a track hoe struck it Dec. 28. The left lane of the flyover ramp from eastbound I-270 to eastbound I-70 has been closed since then to protect travelers.
Bridge repairs are scheduled Friday and Saturday nights. The Colorado Department of Transportation says it expects to complete the bridge repairs by 6 a.m. Sunday.
