An animal rescue group is looking for a puppy they say was stolen during an adoption fair this weekend.

The 10-week old Husky-Pit Bull mix was in a crate at the entrance of the North Academy Petsmart when she disappeared last Saturday.

The rescue group, San Luis Animal Welfare, is worried that because the puppy is a pit bull mix she may have been taken to be used as a fighting dog.

The puppy is white with some spots and bright blue eyes. If you have any information you are asked to call the Colorado Springs Police Department or the rescue group at 719-587-WOOF
