WESTMINSTER, Colo. (AP) - A man suspected of robbing a Walgreens pharmacy in Westminster has been arrested after police saw him sleeping in a car parked two blocks from police headquarters.
Police say 26-year-old Paul McQue Webb had a cut on his left hand that needed medical attention when they found him Friday. The Denver Post reports the man appeared to be under the influence of drugs.
Police say Webb matched the description of a man who showed Walgreens employees a gun Friday and demanded narcotic pain pills. Witnesses told police he was bleeding. At the time, police speculated he may have accidentally shot himself while trying to hide the gun before the robbery.
