Rox pound Dodgers in Cactus action

GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) - Colorado Rockies starter Ubaldo Jimenez showed little rust Tuesday with three scoreless innings in a 12-0 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Jimenez, the Rockies' projected opening day starter, made his first start of the spring look easy by giving up one hit with two strikeouts - but he did walk three batters.

Seth Smith paced the Rockies on offense with a pair of hits and three RBI. His two-run double was the big blow during a three-run fourth inning.

Dodger's starter Hiroki Kuroda gave up two runs, one earned, on two hits over two innings of his first spring start.

The Rockies had 16 hits to the Dodgers' three.
