DURANGO, Colo. (AP) - A lost runner who spent a night in the mountains with only her running gear has been found safe after a dog walker heard her call for help.

The Durango Herald reports 31-year-old Marla Luckey was found cold but in good health Tuesday after spending the night in the Red Creek area east of Durango.

Luckey's friends alerted authorities Monday evening after she didn't return from an afternoon run. La Plata County authorities combed four drainages looking for Luckey that night.

On Tuesday afternoon, a person walking a dog heard a call for help and alerted a nearby summer camp.

Luckey recently moved to Durango from Michigan, sheriff's authorities said.
