Three family members found inside a burning home in Rye on Wednesday were shot to death while they slept and died as a result of gunshot wounds instead of the fire that destroyed their home. Those details, along with the identities of the victims, were revealed by the Pueblo County Coroner and Pueblo County Sheriff in a media briefing Saturday afternoon. The victims were identified as Reginald and Kim Tuttle, 51 and 55, respectively, and their daughter Dawn Roderick, 33. All three were shot multiple times. Their bodies were found inside their burning home in Rye Wednesday morning. It was previously revealed that the fire was ruled arson with multiple points of ignition. Pueblo County Sheriff Kirk Taylor says arrest warrants have been issued for Harry Mapps, 59, a former handyman who rented a room in the home. Taylor says Mapps cashed checks in the victims' names in Pueblo and La Junta following the fire. Mapps is believed to be armed and dangerous, but is believed to have fled the area and a nationwide hunt for Mapps is underway, Taylor said. Anyone who has information about Mapps or sees him is asked to call 911 immediately.
